It was something like Thursday, September 27, 2012 | 12:54 PM when the ORKUT (google) team announced to offer more safety to the accounts. Frankly, I was excited thinking that Orkut will surely come out with something more exciting (as usual) to fight with the other giants. But the news of Tchau Orkut on Monday, June 30, 2014 | 10:23 AM was really very very pathetic! I never expected this from Google. I mean they've just proved themselves that they can do anything for business. At first they brought the technology so called SOCIAL NETWORKING, allowed users to get familiar with that and also allowed others to develop something better than them & compete with. The emotions,the scraps, the good old friends,the memories of the users associated never mattered for them. So, such a rude decision! Orkut is/was not only the first social networking site for any particular individual, but for the entire world its was the first communication media via scraps, messages,communities, forums, polls,chats & many more! Even today, if you are able to read me here that's too because you are/were related to Orkut. Orkut is everything for me(us)....
I being a user know that my one post or a message wouldn't change the decision of those business seekers.... But frankly, ORKUT I WILL MISS YOU SOOOOOO MUCH... Love you for being with me throughout these years. Love you for providing so many good friends & love you for making me popular. Thank you for that. If possible please don't go
