Earlier IITans sacrificed life in remote campuses because they have USA future. With USA greencard taking very long time now there is no good USA future now so all want to move to indian cities only. Most of the good breed of India is already in cities and in villages only junk remains, so naturally most IITans are now already city based so they naturally want to live in cities.
