1. Educated people know how to handle their ego. They also understand that there is no point staying in a relationship if the partners are incompatible in whatever sense. Do not equate understanding of behaviour with EGO. There is no point suffocating each other by staying together.
2. There are fights between all couples, rather I would say in all relationships, be it parent-child or siblings. All relationships demand attention. If a relationship is pleasant, one gives attention to the partner but if it is unpleasant, one would want to stay away.
3. Divorce should not be seen in negative light. It is a healthy practice to restore freedom of individuals whose relationship is not working. It is better than people going into depression or committing suicide or disappearing forever.
Educated people are more able to assert their freedom. The poor uneducated do not have what it takes to become free human beings.
Divorce is a good thing and a sign of good health. Permanent marriage is a very bad thing as it is a sign of succumbing to slavery and oppression. The institution or custom of people getting married is itself very primitive, harmful, and superfluous. It is much better for people to try to live in if they like, because they do not loose the freedom to move out without notice or hassles.
Humans should never enter anything that permanently deletes their freedom in private matters.
The causes of divorce of educated couples is due to less financial dependency causing in increase in ego,Intolerance towards advises of elders & aspiring to have nuclear family,Non-fulfillment of a high expectation in material requirement & a change of views on family values
I have seen many of my educated friends are getting divorced now a day so easily - on the other hand in my village still divorce is an unknown phenomenon....!! even educated couple who are in to love marriage are getting divorced...!!
Largely speaking it is correct. The percentage of divorced couples in educated tribe is far higher than uneducated. I dont know if RSS chief said it or not, (because media usually in the past quoted him out of context several times implying and inferring wrong meanings)
It is not because of their high degree, it is because of their exposure to the world and financial independence, low tolerance level and family surroundings are the main reasons. Even people who are not qualified like cine and TV personalities go for divorce, it is mainly because of exposure and financial independence. RSS instead of talking these matters and lose popularity among the youth, concentrate how you can develop attachment towards religion and no caste society to unite all under Hindu umbrella.
I don't know where this unwanted fight of Man and Woman will go. but one thing is sure we will not have intact families where we had parents grandparents his family her family relatives and all.
I am sure this is because we disturbed the balance of basics. Woman was respected for her patience great heart n caring and man for protection hard work financial support. simple it was when we were less educated, now as we can argue we made it complicated.
