Go only for First hand bikes from the authorized dealer for the following reasons.

1. You get a brand new bike where everything works properly and is factory fresh and bike feels tight. In 2nd hand purchases you might have a badly maintained bike on which nothing works.

2. You can full company warranty /Guarantee and also you will probably be going to a company workshop at least till the warranty period lasts. You never know the service history of bikes.

3. All the documents and papers are clear and you save a lot of hassle of documentation. There is no chance of landing up with a stolen bike or a bike that might have been involved in an accident.

4. Bigger bikes 1500cc-180cc-200cc tend to be driven hard by their owners so its better to avoid a roughly used bike.

5. You can get a loan for upto 3 years on a new bike at low interest rates and hence you dont end up spending all your savings at once.

It Better to go for an economical bike in case your budget it limited then going for a big bike.Go for a second hand bike only if you are a collector or an enthusiast who has the knowledge , time and energy needed for a safe transaction
