Tranquebar
by R MUTHUKUMARASAMY on Jan 30, 2014 09:33 PM

I have visited Tranquebar several time as my native is in Tranquebar taluk in Nagappatinam Dist. I also done my PG in TBML College Porayar. But the ancient monument lags basic amenities. Govt has to take care of it. The train route from mayiladuthurai to tranquebar should be reconstruted and linked with karaikal.R.M.Samy

Danish with Dutch.

Tranquebar was a Dutch colony. The Danes had nothing whatsoever to do with the place.

Calangote beach
by Rajaram on Jan 30, 2014 03:17 PM

The article on Goa is incomplete since it has not covered the calangote beach, the golden sand beach. There are cottages of Goa Tourism along side the beach. Stay there and listen to the music created by the waves hitting the shore in late evening without lights. The sound is so soothing, you will forget all tensions. Important: Do not take any ligour when you are doing it. You will sleep off without enjoying the sounds of the waves

If they place an umbrella for tourists.

Then road side dwellers will make it their home.

rowdies, rapes, robbery and the DANGER is always there.

too many criminals roaming around scot free in INDIA in the name of Democracy and Freedom.
