TO TRACE THE CULPRIT
by ASHISH BAGWADKAR on Jan 29, 2014 08:41 PM  | Hide replies

Ideally this matter should have been registered with POLICE already. So they must spread this news via TV channels (NEWS) to the Garage people everywhere in Mharashtra and that is quite possible since nobody would repair car at home. The CAR will surely come to garage with some different Identity either or it will be sold via car dealers or to an indivisual directly. so this matter has more weightage if we have POLICE BULLETINE OR RTO BULLETINE on TV for days so that we can get the culprit. In DUBAI OR GULF Countries any car which is damaged is to be taken to garage with POLICE certificate only and you can not drive any damaged car easily on roads, just to confirm that the driver has not killed anybody, unfortunately ther is no such system in india.

In gulf damaged car can be repaired anywhere. In gulf in countries like Saudi, local people can kill any Indian or other outsider and nothing will happen.

Don't think the murderer will get away.....the police will find some clue, someone would have seen the incident, that guy will eventually find his nemesis and be nailed....

All the best to the police team

Safe driving on roads
by jayaram putisari on Jan 28, 2014 08:55 PM

In Kerala even national highways do not bear proper road markings and kerbstone linings and public transport buses racing against time are a nightmare for smaller vehicles using the roads. Coordination of many factors is involved in the optimum use of and proper safety on highways and authorities should ensure that they are taken care of in the interest of better safety and public convenience.

Where was Rediff when Mukesh Ambani's son mowed down lives?
by Aditi Mukherjee on Jan 28, 2014 02:47 PM

While this is a commendable effort it reeks of hypocrisy because no media bothered to report when Mukesh Ambani's drunk son snuffed out several lives in his fancy 4 crore car.

R.I.P .My condolences, But I am not sure if he wearing a helmet (his cause of death was severe head injury). Car driver definitely guilty for driving away if not for hitting him. Not wearing helmet that too in Pune highway was terrible mistake.

more info may be got
by karunasagar Dheram on Jan 28, 2014 11:53 AM

As you say the car hit the bike, there must be traces of car paint sticking to the bike, you may specify color of car then, that will be a great give away. prints of tread marks on the bylane dirt must be photographed for proving responsibility later.
