India Shining
Tarvelling through HR and UP
by India Shining on Jan 27, 2014 01:05 PM

You'll be lucky if you manage to get back home alive on these bikes, because you're sure to be stopped and robbed of everything if you go around on such a bike in this sort of price range

Will it sell?
by Amar S on Jan 26, 2014 08:15 PM

OK. Many Indians have money to buy this but will they buy? Here even a sun roof or moon roof in a car is not usable due to the pollution and people spitting from the bus. Would someone who can buy this bike want to really drive it on Indian roads?

Fuel consumption
by shashi kadapa on Jan 24, 2014 02:27 PM

I googled the fuel consumption and it is 18.2 kmpl. Not very bad for a 1800 cc bike. Would like to own it, but it is way beyond my budget. Fantastic for rich people though.

Well this is what premium iconic brands command in US sadly these products aren't meant for third world markets.

Indians would be better off with hamara bajaj type price range

The price of Indian Vintage is US$ 22,999/- (Rs 14,95,000 at $= Rs 65/- exchange rate) whereas the same is costing Rs 33 lacs in India (ex showroom). All this is because of taxes. The sales will triple at that rate. There are many Indians who can buy at that rate.
