suspension made the issue nationally known. Had she not been suspended it would have just ended there as a FB post - a few likes, comments and shares...Now bar association is proved that they have not only Chauvinists as members but also have fools as decision makers. We had studied a small story. An ant bit an elephant. What a shame, elephat thought. But it was wise unlike the bar association members. It decided not to take any visible action against the ant, because it knew that the world around will notice any action of it and more and more people will know that an ant has bitten the huge elephant. So it decided to keep silent and the ant left after a while.

chavinists...fools...decision makers...ant & elephant... perfectly said with excellent insight.
a random post mocking colleagues in social network is not cool. Whatever may the issue, there is a system which needs to be followed. You being a lawyer must know it better. what you did is indeed a professional misconduct. One side you say you are a feminist and contrarily give lame excuse like you are junior and so do not want to fight. If you think your suspension is unfair then you must fight it out. Dont pass the buck.

oooh! social network is professional misconduct. How is it even relevant? Did you ever think that probably the relevance arose out of a chauvinistic mindset?
And feminism automatically makes one an activist? Ooooh! Wake up!!
Dear miss, even the males undergo lot of stress and struggle while settling in their career. So why so Halla Gulla over being a woman. Most of the Indian males treats women nicely. Some stray instances for which criminals are responsible cannot make all males pervert and senseless as you suggest. There are equal number of matching counterparts in females also. Why don't you study law properly, learn new things like investigation, cross examination of witness etc to hone your professional skills instead of wasting time on facebook over trivial and non sence matters.

What about white-collared lechery? 95% Bosses or superiors in office (male or female) do this under the guise of corporate affairs. As a result, attrition rate in firms is high (just 'coz pervert male bosses favour women & vice versa.)

Yup you are absolutely right she should wait for someone to physically assault her or rape her to raise her voice. Its people like you and their "chalta hai" attitude that make this country unsafe for women.
Yes , I full agree with youngster who received punishment. Why do we differentiate people. Its the bar association which is barring the freedom of speech. Dont we have freedom to express what we want? It seems association is hiding something. Even in coourt , a person will be given chance to express his opinion. Its atrocious.
The sentence is very important - ''I do not know how it is in other workplaces in Kerala, but this is the impression I got from the bar association.'' It is a local cultural issue where this lady works.I have lived in Kerala for 26years and it is not same where I lived. There could be issues but it is similar to else where in India. I do not know why rediff brands entire men from kerala the same...Please produce more evidence before you brand entire people.
