Now a days Mammas and Dadaas keen on taking their kids to Mcdonald or Domino's. Try this type of simple recipe, kids will love this dish and parents also.

Please make a note of the spelling of Bread it is given as Bred and how can it be Vegetable uttapa without a mention of which vegetables to use Whoever this Barua is she must be very influential with Rediff to get away with this kind of a recipe

chopped vegetables of your choice that is it. Try different ones and zero in on which you like best. Onions are a must though. tomatoes are fine but not too much. Carrots do not cook well, not sure if it will be preboiled. Brinjal not used.

It is not Utapa but Oothapam and the photo/picture given is most unappetizing !!

It is added to create air bubbles in the batter - to make softer and fluffier uttapams - instead of keeping the batter in the sun for a few hours or addding yeast.

You should take the soft one meant for dosa. Upma can be both soft and coarse.
