Good article. However, this is the common life of any Indian, especially middle and upper middle class. Why only celebrate V-Day? Create V-day any time convenient and one should change the mind-set.

Any opportunity should be well celebrated if there is something to celebrate. BUT LOVE SHOULD NOT BE RESTRICTED TO ANY PARTICULAR DAY.
To be very honest, LOVE has got different meanings for different people of different societal strata, different family background, different location/geography, different age group. SO BETTER NOT TO USE THIS TERM AT ALL. In India / Hindi there are several words that can be used to express your SO CALLED LOVE..
