Everybody knows this stuff. This is extremely generalised information.Many of the reasons for obesity in India are not known to general masses who go on exercising and dieting without any effect on weight loss. People planning a weight loss should go for a thorough medical checkup preferably with an obesity specialist. Two major reasons for obesity in India are Thyroid and other endocrine problems and sleep apnea. These should be first ruled out/treated before going for a weigt reducing programme.
