English Language
by Manohar Rao on Jul 20, 2015 01:31 PM

Original English language has very limited vocabulary and is not a perfect language at all.English has stolen many words from different languages all over the world.Just consider these names lady finger, drum stick, elephant foot.Looking at names like these one can guess that whoever a thought of these names have a mentality of a nursery kids and those so called English experts trying to teach or in fact forcing other language people to except this language developed by kids. They does not know how to properly spell there language for example 'but','cut' is spelled in one way and 'put' is spelled differently.Somebody said if you spell to as 'tu' then why not spell go as gu.
English language does not have a name for every relation, where as all the Indian languages has clear cut names for all relationships because it was developed by highly intellectual people and not by kids or copycats.
It is our misfortune that an underdeveloped language like English is declared as international language.

And our another misfortune is that many educated upper class and middle class Indians take english speaking as status symbol and feel insulted to speak in their mother tongues.

It is Modern English
by Dhruveshwar Nath on Dec 22, 2014 04:05 PM

Best part about English is that it contineously accepts new words, spelling and grammer. It does not try to create/coin new words or sentences. It accepts grammer the way it is spoken, takes words from any language and accepts spelling the way people want it. This is the reason for its greatness and world wide acceptabilty
