Instead of doctors recommending a healthy lifestyle. Which is to eat responsibily and exercise, they are promoting the services they offer. What a shame!

Of course! If some cannot lose weight by "genuine weightloss attempts", then they would NOT lose by surgery as it merely reduces the size of stomach to decrease food intake. So the reason for weightloss is reduced food intake. That means the person didn't try genuinely before and gave in to temptation. If someone is really metabolically resistant (which is extremely rare), then this surgery would not help. Losing weight is not at all difficult. You just have to sort your priorities, whether it is a fit body or the momentary pleasure from taste.
