This was a story published in Pakistan newspaper Tribune. Europe, USA, UK and even Latin America.. all are very unsafe and full of crime. But not in Singapore. It is safest, cleanest for women and kids.
During a recent visit to Singapore, a friend, who resides there narrated a tale of a taxi driver. He was on a night shift when he picked up a young woman in her early twenties who was wearing a two-piece bikini and was barefoot on the side of the road at three in the morning. She had gone for a beach party about five kilometres from where the cabbie picked her. During the party, she went for a swim but found everything missing — slippers, towels, bag, phone and money — upon her return. She couldn’t figure out whether it was a prank or an actual theft. She, nevertheless, decided to walk from the beach to the main road where she could get a cab at that time of the night to go back home. Not once was she afraid for her personal safety and no one teased her throughout either. The cabbie took her home safely and was paid the fare by the girl’s father who had been alerted of her sorry state over a phone call by the cabbie during the ride. The law is so strict there and stringent for women. But other than law, there are many counseling centers and active government participation not only for women safety but for pluralism.
Singapore, undoubtedly, owes this to Lee Kuan Yew, the father of new Singapore. Very few leaders in world have match this giant of a leg

giant of a legend lee kuan yew. Singapore Housing Development board is one kind in the world which has quota for all communities and relig...ion. The idea is if people stay separately away from each community, they will find racial clave which will created more hatred. 90% of Singapore citizen lives in government provided subsidized housing board flat where Lee in earlu 80's aimed to bring all community together. Live with each other, share food, share festivals, share thoughts, bargain...
Not only that Singapore provided more subsidized housing for those who want to live near their parents, so that people can take care of parents and not leave them in isolation which promotes family bonding. Singapore theory is if people are with broken marriages, live alone, feel isolated, they will turn to drinking and drugs, which will increase more crime....
Singapore is one kind of city state which is unique...It is very inspiring
though groping is wrong I would never sit with an unknowm man even in daylight . women must not take chANCESwith their security. men see single women as easy targets and society is least bothered and so are the cops. women don't take chances with security
I think we are seeing only one part of story, It would not be possible to rape a women by a single man, either girl had consent or might be she had consume alocohol, proper inquiry is needed from both side
I had a fat wallet and money was poking out as I was just returning from bank just before midnight alone in a secluded area where my guest house is. all people were staring at it and few tried to steal my purse. One guy even managed to pull it from my jeans pocket that was wide open due to the size of the wallet. This country is too bad, that people steal money though it is mine, there are no police even at midnight in remote locations, noone is ready to help me when a knife holding criminal is taking my fat purse. What I do with my purse and how much I carry and how much I show off is my choice, it doesn't mean its up for stealing. This is my fundamental right. I think all problem is because of the indian culture and americans are the best.

Are you serious or kidding here. Almost at midnight hour which bank is working. You don't have enough sense to make a story it seems. Don't blame India and Indian culture for your unnatural behaviour.

Companies also have ways and means to artificially threaten employees by giving them bouts of bad luck if they are not compliant, this is made by making them puppets in a system which only HR has keys to unlock if they are capable. HR works as the shephard of all the company COWS and goats, No amount of Radio Collaring using UIDAI will save them because the UIDAI is used to keep you transfixed (Feeling confident and secure Halucinating about Zero Threat Perception on the road back home from work)in the same state when you come to work the next day as the one you left office yesterday

There is no way one can stop crimes against women. The attraction between man and women is natural law. Nobody can control it. But some precautions would reduce the crimes.
Ladies should accept their vulnerability and behave carefully. For example, do not travel alone after midnight. There is nothing to feel ladies feel inferior by accepting their weakness. Can a man move freely in a jungle consisting tigers?
Secondly, stop saying moral police etc when people advise against kiss-of-loves, Valentine etc. It may be o.k. for some liberal advanced people. But that creates problems to some dignity mined women.
Thirdly, India should send a team to gulf nations to learn and get trained how to minimize crimes against women. I believe ladies are much safer in gulf nation.

@MM Ladies are much safer in Gulf because of their criminal law. The moment you raise this issue you will find the political parties will be jumping with their guns. If there is no rape in India how do you think these political parties will exist.

In Gulf countries the 'Shriar' law is applicable. They either c@strate or stone to death a person accused of r@pe.

so you're admitting that man is an animal? Women walking on the street, trying to make a living on their hard work, and just wanting to get home in one piece at night - is just like going through a jungle full of animals? If you don't know the difference between natural attraction and rape, then you are not man enough. Very few real men in India given the rape/molestation cases.
