Forget about uneducated people, I have seen a team of folks working in a reputed software company making wi1d gestures at another fema1e employee, commenting loudly about gir1's b00bs and laughing out loud during lunch hour.
On your other comment related to Indians, it's not just specific to India. It's the same around the globe. Recently, Hungarian police got fed up of high number of rapes in Hungary and gave a guideline to 1adies in their country not to stay out late and not to dress scantily.

You said if you son does the same thing you will finish his life with your own hand. I ask you the same question with different gender. If you have a woman who turns out to be Sunny Leone promoting her filthy character in India, those directors like Mahesh Bhat and Ekta Kapoor promoting this dirty filthy female, then it is worth finishing those people than your own son, because these people set bad example of society and it affects society in a big way..

What Sunny Leone doing is not earning with respect. She is inciting youths in very wrong way.Her videos are as active as before

People like Sunny Leone are in entertainment business. If you do no like them do not watch them. They are only giving you what they think will sell and they will make money.
Harassing women, getting violent with them and rapes these are diffrent ball games. These are illegal activities. No one encourages you to do these acts. You have to discipline yourself and can not blame people who are in the entertainment business. If you do illegal acts.. law will take its course. Simple.. that is the bottom line.

At the end of the course, a graduation party will be held.

“The course gives couples the tools they need to build a strong and healthy marriage that will last a lifetime. During the course, couples talk about important issues that might otherwise get swept under the carpet in the rush of daily life,” Dr Wong pointed out.

The talks, presented in DVDs, feature the creators of the course, Nicky and Sila Lee, both from London.

Dr Wong explained the Marriage Course included a “fantastic atmosphere and romantic meals for two,” practical talks and couple discussion times but no group sessions.

The topics are Building Strong Foundations, The Art of Communication, Resolving Conflict, The Power of Forgiveness, The Impact of Family – Past and Present, Good relationship and Love in Action.

“The course is designed to help couples invest in their marriage and make it stronger and better. Most of the advice given can be described as practical guidelines for making a relationship not only work but also flourish.

“There are no group discussions or presentations as privacy is always respected,” he said.

The main problems faced by married couples today boil down to having no time for each other and lack of skills.

Modern day living is so hectic that the most important relationship in life – between husband and wife – is often overlooked and neglected. The demands of job, career, hobby, children and other duties take up too much

Previous course participants, Shawn and Liza, said they never heard of a marriage course before and decided to attend.

“We never realised the importance of ‘marriage time’ and ever since our first baby was born, we hardly had any time for ourselves.”

“In this course, we learned it’s important to set aside time, prioritise and protect it at all costs. It was hard at first but after a while, we felt much more alive and the passion we used to have did not die after marriage,” they said.

The couple learned the importance of effective communication, resolving conflicts, listening to and giving each other full attention and respect.

They pointed out that TV shows potraying marriages as a bed of roses were often misleading as “it takes serious commitment, conscious decision and meticulous effort to make a marriage work.”

They also said people often had a misconception of the Marriage Course.

“By attending, they feel their marriage will be labelled as problematic. So they are embarrassed to attend. But the fact is that troubled couples should seek marriage counselling.

“Our relationship was at the lowest and this marriage course came along at the right time.

We cannot imagine what would have happened had we not attended it.

“Of course, our relationship did not change drastically overnight and what we learned will stay with us for a long, long time,” they said.

Marriage is a very primitive uncivilized relationship between persons, which continues because of arbitrary adherence to tradition rather than rational thought.

High divorce rate is a sign of good mental health. Artificial reduction by running motivational campaigns ignores the natural variation of freedom, justice, satisfaction, and choice with time. Marriage is an inherently dark condition because what happens inside it is beyond scrutiny and control. Even if the couple are unhappy they cannot find relief except after they are divorced. Low divorce rate is a possible sign of uncivilized conditions in the society in which freedom of the individual is suppressed.

However all that is not very important for India because it is largely very primitive and uncivilized anyway. Higher or lower rates of divorce will only affect a tiny part of the population.

Women still have very strong inhibition against taking action or hurting people. Far from actually using solutions, women do not want even to be a part of it. Inhibition against seriously harming and killing rapists has to be removed from minds of women, otherwise there is no chance of solving the National Rape problem of India. Need is to produce at least one thousand cases where assaulted women fought and got blood of rapists on their hands. Effort has to be made to make it happen and publicize it.

Pleading and begging for safety or equality is useless. It has to be obtained by taking physical, social, and psychological power in their own hands. Women have to seize power to destroy rapists, so that men get shivers down their spine at the very thought of harming them.

Solutions can have psychological, physical, and technological components. Thousands of groups of women and friends should practice mock rapes for at least 30 minutes every day and show its videos online. Experimental surprise attacks will develop techniques, reactions, and tools. Animators could make videos showing different types of actions that might happen during rape. Police ideally should not receive a complaint of rape but a report of action already taken as well as broken and dead bodies of rapists.

This is concocted. There were no ST before the British came. Threre was no exploitation of SC before cities were developed by invaders 1000 years ago. Before that Indians lived in villages and there were no latrines to be cleaned. Best of all, for the last 2000 years no Kshatriya has become king in India. Only BC who were later on annointed as Kshatriya. Read History and find out who were Marathas, Mauryas, Guptas etc.
So who exploited who. It was only the invaders who expoilted all Indians.

Lessons from Singapore
by Sameer Shaikh on Dec 08, 2014 06:45 PM  | Hide replies

This was a story published in Pakistan newspaper Tribune. Europe, USA, UK and even Latin America.. all are very unsafe and full of crime. But not in Singapore. It is safest, cleanest for women and kids.

During a recent visit to Singapore, a friend, who resides there narrated a tale of a taxi driver. He was on a night shift when he picked up a young woman in her early twenties who was wearing a two-piece bikini and was barefoot on the side of the road at three in the morning. She had gone for a beach party about five kilometres from where the cabbie picked her. During the party, she went for a swim but found everything missing — slippers, towels, bag, phone and money — upon her return. She couldn’t figure out whether it was a prank or an actual theft. She, nevertheless, decided to walk from the beach to the main road where she could get a cab at that time of the night to go back home. Not once was she afraid for her personal safety and no one teased her throughout either. The cabbie took her home safely and was paid the fare by the girl’s father who had been alerted of her sorry state over a phone call by the cabbie during the ride. The law is so strict there and stringent for women. But other than law, there are many counseling centers and active government participation for women safety but for pluralism.

Singapore, undoubtedly, owes this to Lee Kuan Yew, the father of new Singapore. Very few leaders in world have match this giant of a legend.

Singapore Housing Development board is one kind in the world which has quota for all communities and relig...ion. The idea is if people stay separately away from each community, they will find racial clave which will created more hatred. 90% of Singapore citizen lives in government provided subsidized housing board flat where Lee in earlu 80's aimed to bring all community together. Live with each other, share food, share festivals, share thoughts, bargain...

Not only that Singapore provided more subsidized housing for those who want to live near their parents, so that people can take care of parents and not leave them in isolation which promotes family bonding. Singapore theory is if people are with broken marriages, live alone, feel isolated, they will turn to drinking and drugs, which will increase more crime....

Singapore is not a police state as mentioned by aus ant. Their night life has been transformed in the last 10-15 years, with many night clubs, Al fresco dining and near beach side with open environment and with their famous uniquely tourism. It is just the discipline their government had injected on people with harsh punishment and canning kids from school. Yes caning in School is legal and method adopted in singapore to discipline their children and respect elders, but it is light caning and not judcial caning given to serious criminals

Singapore is a small city which can be monitored .. India being huge and with huge population , it is very difficult to keep a check . Secondly prostitution/Night life is ok in Singapore but not in India .India has huge population of people who are sexually frustrated , where singapore people are open minded .. U can see girls wearing mini dresses all over Singapore , but not in India ..

It is a city state, but it is densely populated with 5.4 million living in a space with 770 SQKM or 35 KM stretch and not like Australia which population per sqkm is thin.

In America the molestation and rapes are more than India per capita wise because all cases are reported and many of them fake done by girls. It is a problem of west also including europe.

The above idea for Singapore for security was combination of strict laws, promoting family values, not allowing open obscenity, family values. It is like when you promote freedom of speech and freedom to do anything or out of boundary then you cross those boundaries, live in infidelity, have broken marriage, after certain age, feel isolated, then to forget loneliness and isolation people indulge in drugs and alcohol which results in rise in crimes against women. All these are correlated.

The problem is unique and applicable to world not India, so above example of Singapore is first kind of initiative to harbor a safe society. Nobody can deny city state of Singapore is one of the safest place for women and kids with its draconian law..

I feel the answer to India would be draconian law against men, promote family bonding, marriage at right time, affordable housing, jobs for everyone, ban bollywood movies and better censorship from govt to avoid getting men provoked. Strict no no to Sunny leone types, do not encourage these females. Make prostitution legal in certain areas for these men. You cannot marry off every men
