people are too poor and dependent...
by dineshhassija on Sep 14, 2015 03:35 AM

older people expected their close ones to make themselves available all the times while younger ones had always been interested to earn more to improve living style. Let their be cheaper day care centres to take care childrn and older people...

Taking care
by aridaman kumar on Nov 06, 2014 09:37 AM

The topic is very relevant when we as society are in a phase where senior citizens are somewhat a liability.

sangeeta Vermas offer to do something is very encouraging. I after my VRS opened an NGO (www.apnagharsociety.com) to console my this feeling. Most welcome to exchange views.

None can afford...
by dineshhassija on Aug 25, 2014 12:35 PM

we had been too dependent because of joint family culture and now none can afford such culture due to hectic professional career. Rather caring is considered as huge liability though many might be leaving enough wealth. In fact, we have become emotion less and have forgotten that we would also have to be in older age phase though with a difference that we have almost forgotten the culture of joint family and most of the decisions are being taken independently. So, we might regret such culture in later part of our life...let us hope for the best...

Very inspiring call
by Sangeeta Verma on Aug 14, 2014 09:50 AM  | Hide replies

Thanks for such an innovative step to take care of the people who take the charge of attending the patients at home of dear ones. It is indeed very important task and takes toll on the health of the care taker most of the times. We all agree that it is important to be healthy oneself to take care of another sick person. But in practice, the importance of sick one wins and your priority takes the last seat.
Hats off to such initiative and wish u all the best. Hope to see such initiatives to take place in other cities/ towns too.
I belong to Jharkhand and would love to be a part of such initiatives at my home land. Can I be a part of your team in terms of its spread to other states?
Sangeeta.

Boss after all it's business, nothing is free; don't be fall pray to this tactics of getting fame through such articles. Ask them to attend any such patient in your family & then make comment when you get shock about the charges of services.
