1. Control your food intake ...... eating more isn't going to make your self-inflicted problems go away!
2. Stand as much as you can and walk as much as you can ....... unfortunately in India standing and walking around are perceived as signs of low status in work places! Ironically these "big shots" who sit all day also tend to have big health problems. Search the internet for 'health risks of prolonged sitting'. You will be shocked at what your "status symbol minding behavior" does to your health!
3. Drink a lot of water. If you drink a lot of water, you will expel a lot of water and many toxins with it!
4. Get 6.5 to 7.5 hours of sound, deep sleep. It may sound counter-intuitive but sleeping for the right duration actually burns fat!
5. Avoid eating garbage in the name of having gourmet food! It is difficult to tell what impact "exotic" food may have on your health, so go easy on making and eating what you see on TV!
6. Stop keeping up with Joneses! Just because your neighbor does something "dazzling", doesn't mean you have to do it too! Trying to imitate others makes you do things you may not have the physical ability to do. It is hardly worth taking on extra stress just to prove that your reproductive organs are more than adequate!
