Reforms in Society
by on Apr 19, 2014 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

BJP, we are told has made changes in their party. They are allocating one third of the seats in elections to women.
It is a very positive step. The reforms in our society and culture will come faster if our political leaders encourage them.
We hope BJP led NDA will come to power and bring in a dawn of equality for women.A country where women are as empowered as men will be a country where education, health care and respect for poor and weak will be more important than macho images of militarily strong nation.

Mulayam Singh, Azam Khan like people are not matured enough for the national discussion. I surprise such people hope the PM position. In my opinion people related to rape case should be given death sentence and to be implemented in not more than 30 days.Such cases should not entertained any other court.

in Indian culture and tradition has no space for rape, all this dirty thinking been intimated from mogul culture. After Kashmir now started in other states, to curb this a stringent law as that in UAE has to be imposed is need of hour for safely of women.

One sided laws
by arungopal agarwal on Apr 15, 2014 12:46 PM

Sharda Act is mis-used sizeably-no correction, one can see in jail 20% old males/females are victim of this act fakely, thus creating a crowd in burden on jail too.
Due to one sided law in favour of female only, where a revenge is taken due to quarrel or even to fulfill social requirements-females are already creating fear in the minds of many. Even today in laws are afraid of their daughter in laws in advanced societies, whereas such laws were made to protect the needy and deprived class. To that extent correction is needed for the sake of justice.

Identify the percentage of women involved in this and start the change from that source, you get the result.
