Even I would not mind...
by Anand sodo on Sep 27, 2013 12:29 AM  | Hide replies

Even I will not mind, if Rediff gives me any Amount say - a few CRORES - I will DONATE it all to the NEEDY - BUT - Does that make me a HERO? - The answer is very clear- NO! The Money I am supposedly Gifting is not mine in any case! Similarly this guy HAS been GIVEN that Amount for a specefic purpose and if he does not - then he will be a TRAITOR. If he does give - He is just fulfilling a function he has been given.

Just tell the same when you get few crores its easier said than done. Try to appreciate something good done by him, rather than commenting without doing anything

He has got that money SPECIFICALLY for that PURPOSE and if you are unable even to understand that its not my fault. The Prize he has supposedly earned is NOT for HIMSELF - It has been given for the DREAM that he had expressed. and now it is his DUTY to PAY what he has RECEIVED to the rightfull OWNER.

IDIOTS are simply unable even to understand basic and simple sentences - He(himself working with Infosys) BEGGED for that money - Godrej GAVE him that MONEY - Now if he does not give tha money to the needfull - He will only PROVE what a big TRAITOR he is.

His noble intent has won him the money for the cause he has in his mind and that it is what it makes man or woman useful for the society and the country.

i do not think you have the guts to do such a noble thing. First transform your mind, then only you can think of such noble cause.

Giving is from one's own POCKET!
by Anand sodo on Sep 27, 2013 12:21 AM  | Hide replies

What is this guy GIVING without actually RECEIVING it himself? It is LOUD Godrej that is GIVING, not this guy!. After all this boy has been working with Infy - so why not give some percentage from his own POCKET - even a 5 - 10 percent contribution would go a long way in proving 'Giving is Better than Receiving' Right now he is receiving and then giving and that is a NET 'ZERO'

i think you are all not quite 'au fait' with what "Godrej LOUD" is.

It is a contest -- not a begging bowl -- where first year students from various prominent institutions get an opportunity to expess aloud, creatively, what they would do to fulfil their dreams if they had Rs. 1.5 lakhs.

This year eight (8) students, including Gopi Reddy, were declared winners.

Your HERO went BEGGING to LOUD Godrej - Godrej PAID him that amount SPECIFICALLY for giving it to the NEED FULL (as per his DESIRE). Therefore if at all there is a HERO, then it is GODREJ and NOT this guy. Beggars always WAIT for ALMS - Men who work NEVER expect FREE bies.(this is for you)

Looks like you have only won prizes in "Lucky Dips", not any contest or games of skills.

He is not contesting in an election and being his best friend i can vouch for him. u say that "In this country , no one / nothing is trustworthy any more". does the same thing apply to u as well. if yes then u have no right to denigrate my friend's achievement and the work he is doing for the kids in his village and if not then may be u can become a pioneer of change and do something for the society rather than bad mouthing about one of the most virtuous act my friend Gopi is doing. i just humbly request u to atleast appreciate the work people are doing for the upliftment of the society on behalf of people like u bcuz that is the least u can do.

There are umpteen morons who see everything in bad light. You are one of them. You attain anything in life if u continue to be so pessimistic.. He wants to do and achieve something in life. You need not support him, at least use your brain, if u have any, not to discourage him.. He reflects a common man who is from a village, strived very hard to get into a b-school and found a new way to fulfill his dream..Most of us have some meaningful dreams which we want to realize, unlike you who criticizes others' dreams and life. YOU ARE LOSER !! Grow up kid !!

Onionhead - that's a real perfect name for you - congratulations for that at least! The MONEY was GIVEN by Godrej therefore the real HERO is Godrej. One more thing specially for you - They say COMMON sense is the RAREST sense. its true in your case - FORGET the Person who gave the money in the first place - and PRAISE the guy who just handed over that money from one hand to the other.
