More than her physical assets,it is her bewitc hing smile that carried the crown on her head. Nevertheless, she should not have given free ad to the cosmetic items she used.Anyhow, Hearty Congrats Nina.
Ideally there shouldn't be any beauty secrets to share, if at all this 1ady has won based on her knowledge and wit :-) Unfortunately, that's not the case.

writing for 'The Washington Post', expressed surprise at Ms. Davuluri being selected.
She had given the favourite tag to Ms. Kansas (as did most Americans who followed the event). On facebook and twitter, Ms. Kansas was followed by candidates from other states, but not Miss New York as the popular choice.
Ms. Reese identified the unexpected and novel idea of a 'Bollywood fusion dance' as the clincher for Miss New York. She went on to say that while the dance itself may not have had much appeal, the fact that it was completely new to the Judges perhaps helped the winner immensely, especially against the backdrop of Miss Kansas not being permitted to demonstrate her main talent - archery - and ending up with a poorly performed song.
Many of the comments that appeared on twitter were bluntly raxcist. And a good number of these responses said that Ms. Davuluri might not be described either as beautiful or having a personality worth the name even among her own ethnic community!

It's really funny when South Asians like you cite a minority Albino opinion. Most Albinos love their new Dravidian queen.

Unfortunately for you, those Alxinos expressed their overwhelming preference for women of their own kind through Twitter, Facebook and other media websites. And there were millions of them, literally.
For good measure, the same Twitter and Facebook were flooded with criticism for the pageant judges for opting for outlandish prancing (that is how they described the bollywood dance Davuluri presented) and novelty merely for the sake of novelty.

Of course they wanted novelty. White dull skin looks boring every year. Chinese Albino skin was regulated to second place as well. So it comes down to skin colour only it seems.
