I had a chance to visit this Area of Almora- Kumaon in 2001 and met local people. The area was undoubtedly paradise for travellers. However, foreigners like hippies have got special weakness for this place due to availability of GANJA here. As the local farmers cultivate Poppy seed plants here in plenty.
