One of the most popular color sets was the Nokia 6600. It happened a prized possession for many a persons. I have one which makes me nostalgic as I see it. I have used it with great charm. Now I preserve this with love with one more Nokia in use by me.
Most of the phones listed here are actually not popular but failures. How Rediff could miss 1100, 3310, 3315 and such huge seller phones. Even E series phone is missing a mention here. As usual, Rediff posts some bukwwas to fill the space.
Only one member , ie,. Bhagat Singh has questioned the exclusion of Nokia 3310 and 1100. If I know well, Nokia 3310 was the largest sold handset in the world at that point of time. Also 1100 was a bit hit for its durability and " HIGHLY ENHANCED " power backup. Those were the days, when people used to stand in queue at charging sockets in trains ! Who made up this list ? As usual, I think, Rediff has made one more bloomer article !!

Sorry - Sujit Kumar Chowdhary has questioned the exclusion of 1100. The other sets mentioned by some others are new ones which came out from Nokia, while its decline had started, and Samsung and Apple had got a good grip on the market.

I still see people using Nokia 1100. I jokingly ask them whether they will sell it to me for " Antique value "

I'll miss Nokia for its anger proof, throw proof rock solid design..... why dont they mention Nokia 1100 it was like a piece of stone, you can throw it as far as u can.... still functioning
