Maharashtra is bhommi of saints which due to good deeds of their ancestors resulted progress of the state, hope the new generation and politician don't destroy it. One should be modern to accept good things in life, but not just to show off be modern to ruin life. In Western ppl are modern but every week they go to church so same way we have to follow our traditions. I like Maharastrian tradition with Navwari saris and their get together with phugadis. All Hindus of every state should celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi same way as celebrated in Maharashtra.
