These tips are OK but they will not help you get the job!

The only way you are going to get the job for sure is

1. If you know someone important in the company you are interviewing in.
2. You are an exceptional candidate because of your qualifications, skills or experience.
3. You are a graduate of a prestigious institute and have alumni of that institute in the company you are interviewing in.
4. You are willing to "pay an appropriate amount" to get the job.
5. Blind luck -- You are the right person at the right time by chance.

You can come up with any number of "tips" to "calm your nerves", "prepare better for an interview", "write a great resume" and so on but it won't mean jack unless you are smart about getting the job you want or you wisen up about getting the job you want!

"Stress" interview or any other interview is still an interview you have to get past to get the job right?

Please wake up people!

Don't fall for this interview nonsense and waste your valuable time!

If you want to get the job of your dreams, you have to go above and beyond these "regular" efforts!

Assuming that performing well in an interview ensures that you will get the job is like assuming that just because you have a MBA degree, it will ensure that you can become the CEO of a company as soon as you graduate from B-School!

Remember, there are 100s if not 1000s of candidates who apply for the same job as you do.

The trick is in how you "differentiate" yourself from them!

Anybody who is serious about getting a job will prepare according to the several "tips" that are available on various career websites and in related literature!

How are you different then?

Think, prepare and then go after your dream job!

That is an interesting response Adarsh .. But looks like you are bit confused. Even after being able to differentiate yourself, you can not afford to fail in a stress interview. The discussion is not about any interview or stress in an interview. It is about the "STRESS INTERVIEW" which is one of the tactics played by interviewers to completely stress out the candidate.
