Most of the short time employees of BPO's & call center
are not benefited by PF, as they don't claim the savings. The employer or the government is befitted .

You are right. Employer is liable to pay on maximum limit of Rs, 6500/- @ 8.33% works out to be Rs. 541/- and balance of 3.67% of Rs. 6500/- i.e. Rs. 239/- goes to PF a/c

basic pay

If basic pay is more than Rs.6,500 one is excluded from membership to EPF. You can have compulsory membership for employees with salary upto Rs.6,500 only and so calculate all benefits based on that ceiling.
