Film marketing is to recover the investment. As abt Hit ya Miss depends on the quality and the entertainment quotient.

I worked with this lady- typical glorified broker in bollywood..No depth of knowledge, no brains and absolutely artificial and a wannabe celebrity.. Surprised rediff is so jobless to write about such middlemen( err women) ....Ra.one was a success because of SRK

Ra.one was a success because despite the essential hollowness of the movie- it made money!! Not success from a good movie perspective..

You sound like a loser who cannot digest female supremacy. We can imagine the way you must be treating the ladies in your family.

am not sure about the comments on knowledge, brains etc... I wouldnt go there..but abrogating others hard on to yourself is a total no-no. the Vicky donor example ( in the article)is a case in point. this individual had nothing to do with the 'positioning' of the film. and please stop using clich￿and marketing jargon - it'll embarrass even jack trout. So coming back to the point, the script, sharp direction and great performances made this film a success. in fact the film picked up a wee bit late through word-of-mouth, the best 'positioning' tool know to humanity:)
