How come no mention of Centralia, Pennsylvania?? It was destroyed by mine fire, which was unfortunately started by accident in 1962. The town was completely abandoned and US govt even revoked its pincode.
The underground fire is still burning (since 1962 and will continue to burn for another 250 yrs!!
the article was good but they have missed Indian abandoned cities like : 1>Bhangarh 2>fatehpursikri 3>kannauj 4>karanwas 5>they are many more which were very lately found by british travellers.
