We must appreciate the quality of construction of these forts, 450 years from today. There was NO adulteration in materials, like we have in buildings at Mumbra and Shil phata constructed recently and collapsed. Because t there were NO municipal corporaters and Ministers to pass plans by corruption. Even buildings like Gateway of India, V.T. Station constructed in British Regime have stood the test of time. Have our Govt. since Independence had built any Structure or builing which can be compared against Forts constructed by Shivaji Maharaj or by Britishers? We build bridges like Vashi which need replacement in 25 years time and need another bridge to replace. quality of construction of these Forts, moral and mentality of predecessors was sound. Ministers in Shivaji Maharaj's time were not aware of Swiss Bank A/c, or agencies for money laundering. Jai Maharshtra, Jai Hind.
