I always found Asha a bit too frivolous for her stature. Her daughter kills herself few months back and she is back to walking on the ramp. I am not saying that she should go into a state of seclusion and mourning, but what's the harm in preserving the sobriety and gravitas that everyone expects from a cultural icon?
She wouldn't have deserved to walk the ramp even when she was 18, this is utter nonsense at 80. She is an excellent singer. Talk about her singing, honour her by allowing her to sing somewhere although she is too old to do that.
