Where was the hurry to compare two handsets, without having a real opportunity to get a hold on both at the same time? This comparison was based on Samsung Grand in the real world, with X1000 of the promised fairy land. Not fair at all! Notwithstanding that, the smartphones of today are more or less the same, which are pegged at similar price points. What differentiates two phones, are the feature set one has over the other... and in that, I guess Samsung stand head and shoulders above a Xolo. Also, there is something to be said for the brand recognition... right? Everyone knows a Samsung... who is Xolo? Having said that... specs to specs Xolo seems like a decent handset, but then... excuse me, did you jes say ICS for an OS? really? Are you kidding me? Samsung is hooting for Nadroid 5.0 in the next few months and here we have a guy with ICS. Gimme a break ! 2GHz CPU is impressive though..what next? are we going to see graphics chips being plugged into a phone, like a PC? the time doesnot seem far away. Anyway, grab both the phones together, run similar apps, find response times and maybe we would know how much is one faster over another, because, it is not always about the Hardware specs, it is also about the OS gelling with the HW and that would give real world app response, which is what you and I would see. Is the xolo machine heating up too much? That could fry the chip. Maybe we shud check that out.... good times ahead ..Yay!
