I have been using Google Nexus 4 for about two weeks now, and i can emphatically say it's a superb phone, even without considering the price at which it is available. The feel is real premium, and while using it, you know you have top-end phone. 1.5GHz processor and 2GB memory is available only in phones costing somewhere close to 40K. The touch is super smooth and extremely responsive. There is zero lag even if you have multiple applications running. The screen clarity is amazing (318 ppi is at par with iPhone). And this phone is the king of Androids, running the latest 4.2.2 Jellybean. Probably, the only phone that comes with a pure Android, minus all those clunky customizations that Samsung, HTC, and Sony add to their Android devices. A pure Android interface is a whole lot cleaner and joy to use.
Battery life is indeed disappointing. Camera, although good, is not the best available. I also had some problem transferring my music colelction from my PC to the phone. However, a fantastic app, Airdroid, helped me get over that.
Now, if you bring the price point at which you can get it (around 20K for 16GB), the deal is unbeatable. Don't even think about comparing it to MicroMaxes and Karbonns; just take this device in your hand, and you'll notice it's a class apart. Coming to compaison with top-end Android phones, this phone can easliy beat a lot of them, hands down.
This content is really good. It is up to the point, talked about all the important points when we see at a new gadget. I wish rediff is more aggressive in writing such reviews as there are many gadgets are coming in to the world everyday. The content would stretch useful for branding the rediff and the content will be absolutely useful for readers.
This phone does not offer a good value proposition to other Android options available in India, I consider multi window and side bar features on Galaxy Note II more useful than just beefed up hardware specs

Its shame you are comparing this phone with micromax. Phones like micromax are not only dangerous for your health (they emit very high radiations) but also very faulty
I've been using this phone since dec'2012. It is very fast in touch response and screen swipes. Camera works well. But, while playing games or on long talks, the phone gets heated up in just 10 minutes, Eyes get strained, the same I have not faced in galaxy s3 n iphone 5. Now that note 2 and s3 prices have been slashed massively, launching nexus 4 at 30K! is quite a challenge.
