if u compare with galaxy grand with microax a116
a116 is winner in 7 sections , where as grand winner in 3 section , 1. sensors 2.camera 3. storage , those are not so important so A116 is the Clear winner !

Misleading Add

They claimed that we would get Rs. 10,900 worth of softwares/firmwares for free when we buy this. I bought it from Reliance Digital and I was told nothing of that sort is available with the product.

Nonetheless, it's a good phone with great picture quality and other features, though its pricy!

Definitely a paid article by Samsung
by roy jose on Mar 12, 2013 11:46 AM  | Hide replies

This is definitely a paid article by Samsung to Rediff. The Micromax Canvas A116 HD is definitely more value for money than the Samsung Grand. Grand is available only in the Indian market since Micromax is giving tough competition to Samsung with cheaper phones (less than Rs. 15,000) with almost similar features that Samsung sells for more than Rs. 20,000/-.

OH Come on dude, this is not even a rediff arcticle. And I check themobileindian site regularly, have never had reason to complain about their reviews. In fact, just last week, I thought they were too harsh on a lava phone, and next thing I see, Lava is a major sponsor. So no complaints there.

I just brought the Grand, and can tell you that it performs really well. As the reviewer said, picture quality is great, and even call qualioty is awesome.

Clearly a Paid Review
by Rahul Sharma on Mar 12, 2013 10:48 AM

The reviewer has highlighted the goods & tried to suppress the bads. He didn't mention that screen is a TFT display, with very poor contrast & colors as compared to AMOLED or LCD displays. This is a major drawback in this phone.
