misuse of rape law as well
by attacker on Mar 08, 2013 07:07 PM

there is high increase in the mis-use of rape laws in india.. this crime is neglected which is very harmful... mis-use is one reason why justice is delayed to 'real' victim. there should be capital punishment to women who mis-usaed law.. because of such women real victim's justice is delayed..

Rapists must be punished...
by Shail on Mar 08, 2013 06:28 PM

Having said that, it is also only fair to say that although all men are equipped for rape, aren't really rapists. Over 90% of rapes are committed by friends and relatives

Miss Priyanka,
Can you tell me how much respect do you give to your mother in law?
Will you scold your son if he plays mischief with a girl?

Mr Kiran

Can you tell me how much respect do YOU give to your mother in law or father in law or any other in laws? You force women to leave her EVERYTHING overnight after marriage to be with your family (strangers to her). Is this not selfish? Women's liberty means women should have an EQUAL say in all these things after marriage.

Are Indian men game for this? I am sure NOT. If you are game, you can comment further.

This equality prevails in western countries where women have a say / preference and do have a chance to work to their full potential.

@ Face Dudu

Madam ( am assuming you are a lady ) i would like to open your eyes to whole lot of women who have all the freedom to go out there and achieve what they want after marriage also.
Please dont think we live in Taliban...In all honesty i will admit that this essentially happens in metro cities and still you will have married women just wanting to live on their husbands / fatheres money....Any takers ?

Nonsense
by Anand sodo on Mar 08, 2013 06:06 PM  | Hide replies

All this GENDER talk is nothing but pure nonsense spoken by shameless idiots.
First and foremost, WOMEN are the biggest enemies of Women. Any young wife will tell you about her mother in law (and that how her husband follows his mothers advice blindly).
Survival of the fittest is an age old known thing, this is a world of COMPETITION, where every one is after everyone elses throat, the rich try to squeeze the poor, the urban try to fool the rural, the locals try to cheat the foreigners, The bosses always try to harass their juniors....and so on ...and so forth...
99percent of these ladies who speak about equality and being treated badly leave no stone unturned when begging for reservations, ladies seats...and whenever a male is rude(right or wrong) they simply retort"Ladies se baat karni nahi aati?"
Yes It is a FACT that many men treat women like SH**T and here we coolly forget that it is what their mothers have taught them. Every mother who has fooled her husband teaches her son how not to be fooled by his wife! and the same lady teaches her daughter how to fool her husband and inlaws.

Men and Women are equal, YES, but we should realise and accept that if 3 3=6 then even 5 1=6 and 4 2 is also equal to six. So equality doesnt mean "SAME" but "SIMILIAR" the male or the female can be of any combination of the above examples of 3 3 or 4 2 or 5 1....they will all total up to 6 but yet may not be amiable with each other if wrong comb

Anand - You seem to have a skewed view of the whole situation. Your point is all women are corrupt and scheming by nature, which is not true. Even granted a few are that you need to understand that those wives and mother in laws are not allowed to think any better, If you force a woman indoors all day just to reckon with household where will she get to learn, evolve and gain self esteem? Are Indian men prima facie agree for house wives to evolve and mature by giving them education and not stifle them when a professional growth opportunity comes in.

My point is, if men are stifled the way women were in the past 10 generations, they will behave in EXACT same way as women, if not worse because there is no scope for them to gain perspective or evolve from outside experience.

Any takers?

Alice in Wonderland
by Secular india on Mar 08, 2013 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

Women enjoy freedom and respect in civilized society which is achieved with discipline and limiting the each-others freedom like a men should have only one wife irrespective of how many women want to marry him?

There it is responsibility of all the men especially women to protect the society, can any women utter these words in Afghanistan?
Saudi Arabia do not give driving license to women!

Think what you are supporting or advocating.
