Women are only seeking lime light by posting such bold statement but seriously male dependant in all facet of life. Street dogs can not be controlled and so is desperate male who are huge embarrassment for men. Let women do not care to be scared for them but when they depend on men to fight and protect them against such devils will do no good to their cause. Men can not be on the roads always to sacrifice against plight of women. Yesterday in NDTV there was a nice program on how women can blow whistle against on road harassment. Can all women stand up immediately to catch the fellow and handover to police or even give a black and blue without thinking future consequence? Till that happen such statement is only misusing the limelight obtained by bold work i.e. nothing but skin showing.
in democracy, only performers could stay and none of the criteria to choose a ny particular player could be perfect.. all rules could be critise depending on the person who is critising
it is evdent from all the ekta kapoor serials , that womens are fighters , they keep fighting with each other, and keep creating problems in their eloborate families where all women are decked up at any point of the day.

actually this should change and change immediately.
Women should not stick to family circles alone. Rather they should be increasingly pictured as someone independent and powerful.
Only then will the society's attitude towards women improve. Hope media people make use of the great opportunity with projecting women in new light that is untapped yet.
You have played and conveyed good messages through serials, anyone who is contributing towards progress and as a role model-hailworthy. But what to do with negativity. Today Sharda Act(Dowry) is harassing and embrassing almost every parents of boys side, why women are not opposing it, they are also victim of it.

I think from your posts you are just harping on an isolated instance of the dowry act misuse. Dear most Indian women (about 60% atleast) do not even know that such laws exist! There is a huge task left to even make them aware that such protection exists for them!. If possible, allow women to progress, dont put spades - it will help the country and mens life in general.

There you go! only look at women as glam dolls or holy cows - nothing in between will appeal or matter. What she told in the article are absolutely true and very very relevant, but average Indian male will have no interest to read through and evaluate. Just when will they grow?
