Good..you all know this but still make a hue and cry at airports when the flight is delayed. Why? As the article said, NO airline wants its aircraft delayed as they make money only when the aircraft is in the air and not on the ground. Technical problems normally detected when the pilots starts the aircraft or start their run for take off. Many a times delay takes place due to governmental procedures such as immigration clearance or custom clearance. Then weather condition and take off slots, accidents and incidents at airports. Computer snags etc can cause problems. I have heard many passengers using abusive language at staff who can do nothing. As I said no one will delay their operation for the sake of it.
