"Having 8ex during pregnancy is absolutely safe..."
This is a rather callous statement. Even gynacologists do recommend refraining from having 8ex during the 1st and 3rd trimesters. Its not just a matter of embyonic sac protecting the baby. 0rgsms cause contraction of uterus and this has certain risk, even though small, of triggering off abortion or labour. Rediff should not dish out casual advice on a serious matter.

You might be saying correct. But we did not follow any of the myths, including 8ex one. Watched three eclipses, ate lots of papaya, mangoes and all other nutritious foods banned by grandmothers. Nothing happened, both mother and baby are sound and healthy, moreover delivery was normal.

Gynaec donot ask to avoid it unless the case is really complicated. As a generic rule, you can carry with your normal life.
