While the professor's ideas are very good, there may be practical problems. I have been trying to grow oranges, lemons and mangos in my compound in Kochi. I have had a bit of success with mangos but not the others. The plants survive but don't bear fruit.

you cannot grow every tree everywhere....there are always some trees that bear fruit in a particular environment.put simply your land is not suitable for oranges... i am from up-here if u throw a mango anywhere it ends up becoming a fruit bearing tree....
This is a simple idea, nothing new at all, but a brilliant one if it succeeds and if it generates interest among the people. There is vast amount of barren land all over the country and government offices and schools have large tracts of underutilized land which can be put to good use. When we were young in 60s, our middle school headmaster Shri K. Balamuneiah gave small parcels of land on the school campus to a groups of us and encouraged us to grow vegetables on them. It was such a happy experience for all of us when we saw the seeds sprouting, growing big and then yielding the vegetable. It was a sheer delight. It should be certainly explored all over the country.
The famous mother and Son are secret members of New World order Forum Bilderberg band Illuminati. Both the organisations have put them in Power in India and recolonized the native Indians again through corruption. Both have a solid agenda of culling Natives by 30% hence food inflation in Italian run congress.
I used to cherish this idea since my school life, however never having the initiative to do. There are plenty of free spaces every where, city or rural area where these fruit trees can exist. Original indian trees are strong enough to survive in very harsh condition also. If we encourage needy and helpless people that it is their foods and can have any time they like, hunger will reduce to a great extent which is the biggest pain of any human being.
