The reply to your first question is: the biography of Veer Savarkar. As to the second question, studying in a British institution by itself doesn't make one a traitor. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose studied at Revenshaw College, Cuttack, and was by no stretch of imagination a traitor. Though I entirely agree with your observation about MK Gandhi and Nehru, who were stooges of the British. While the milieu of an educational institution does have a role, it is more the character and sanskaras of an individual that shape him. As to "what was Savarkar doing in a British college", all educational institutions post-1857 were established and run by the British. Jaganniwas Iyer
