Among the luminaries of Pune's Fergusson College is also Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, who joined this college in 1902, but whose name has been ommitted from the list.

How do you know this?

And if he was a freedom fighter, what was he doing in a British college?

The reply to your first question is: the biography of Veer Savarkar. As to the second question, studying in a British institution by itself doesn't make one a traitor. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose studied at Revenshaw College, Cuttack, and was by no stretch of imagination a traitor. Though I entirely agree with your observation about MK Gandhi and Nehru, who were stooges of the British. While the milieu of an educational institution does have a role, it is more the character and sanskaras of an individual that shape him. As to "what was Savarkar doing in a British college", all educational institutions post-1857 were established and run by the British.

Number one
by Sandhurst Rhode on Jun 20, 2013 11:37 AM

The number one spot had to go to a Delhi college since India Today is a Delhi based publication!

So what happens to the graduates of this number one arts college?

Do they stay in Delhi and make it big or do they migrate South to social and cultural havens like Mumbai or Bangalore to make it big?

The answers to the above questions clearly expose the bias in this list!

Way to go, Delhi!

It is proven again that you can't do anything without cheating!
