That is ok. We Indians can deal with a little corruption. Compare that with Kongi corruption 3000K crores in swiss bank
in this world is ones mother from whom one learns about one's father, the world around. So Mother is the First Guru who deserves our worship primarily.Other religious and professional Gurus too have their rightful places in one's life.

Not for all brother. My mother just gave birth to me and went to take classes for her students as she was a teacher. She was of the opinion that if she gives proper education to some kids in school who are not related to her, her son will grow up on his own. He did grow up infact, on his own, self taught. But she forgot that a son who misses mother's love will always end up on the wrong side. Sad she realized this too late and sad his son was not able to love her back in her old age.

Feel extremely sorry for you for missing your mother's love. I am with you and feel the pain you are expressing through the writing. Hope you get back your love through someone close to you.

in desh, working outside the home for women is a recent phenomenon. so they lack the experience to balance life with work. so do not attribute to malice what can be attributed to ignorance. she simply did not know - for is she knew how you felt, she would not have neglected you. so pls forgive your mother and spend time with her in her old age. forgiveness is the only way to heal.

Not really. There is a clear distinction. Love of a mother is more instinctive and made up of more basal emotions, and typically unconditional... Guru on the other hand has the right to refuse, but is more dispassionate in his or her teachings. You can worship mothers on the occasion of Mathru pooja...

Jatin from ahemdabad...if you have such great thoughts about your gurus...then don't call urself H!ndu... Call yourself Secular Man. Congress may end up giving you ticket to fight against CommunalModi ( for me he's sacred).
