Of the late, built quality of all HP products has deteriorated very much. Quality is no where near American standards and just a notch above cheap chinese brands. Be it printers, laptops, desktops and accessories.

HP products never had any quality!
They sold because of their brand name.
Anyway, the specs of this "slate book" indicate that this thing is going to be another flop product from HP!
