With the results of the current session being out and tops being Mallus, I can proudly say: PROUD TO BE A MALLU. But looking to the other states, Keala is genuinely on top in education. Even visitors from other countries refer Malayalis as an example of good educated people.

You have raised a very crucial point. Unless the children are taught honesty and integrity, democracy can't survive. Apart from that, Govt should design schemes to attract the brightest of the students to join civil services.
With all these corrupt politicians and scams, siphoning out money from the country to the swiss banks, if any sort of functions is happening in India, it is because every administrative function is headed by a senior officer from South India. Look at the Governors of RBI, The Metro Raliways Mr Sreedharan, Mr Varghese Kurian of Amul and several others.. they all were selfless and served the nation for years even after legal retirement.
There is provision for those who cant even speak out a sentence completely in English to write the exam in their rashtra bhasha. and with all the money, they buy a position in civil service to recover it through dowry and bribes. And look at the IRS officer >> nominated to rajyasabha >> made the finance minister >> made the prime minister and his team of planning commission, another sardar et al.... scams of fodder, coal, telecom, and even human sh-it.
India is surviving only because of the integrity of the South Indian Civil Service Officers

Moderator why you delete my message as abuse? This lady ahd written without knowing anything about TN, in alst 8 years atleast more than 40-50 students get selected from TN, and there are atelast 30 institute to help poor in TN.

Other states have already initiated such programmes. It is in order to help poor keralites avoid the expense of going to other states in order to prepare that this training centre was put up in trivandrum itself.
On may 7th the same website rediff published article saying "First Kerala student topped UPSC exam after 22 years" So why they misled public by saying how kerala students top UPSC ? I know keralite is owner of rediff that does not mean to fool people here.

Topping UPSC happened after 22 years, the last one being Mr Raju Narayanaswamy. There other ranks always, in the top 10, top 50 and top 100

Why are you so critical about this... Is it due to the fact that you were not able to do anything in your life or due to the fact that the people from your state is good for nothing...Anyways you should appreciate Keralites for this feat? 3/5 top ranks in one of the most competetive exams in the world is no mean feat
