Is the annuity inflation adjusted ? If yes, how much precentage of inflation is taken into account? If it is not inflation adjusted then it is just a totally useless scheme because today you invest an amount in it and you get much less (purchasing power) later on.

Only govt. servants enjoy such inflation link pension, others are fools living in this country.
Govt. must first withdraw present pension scheme of govt. servants, which is DA linked and heaviest burden on our budget without any productivity. Average age has increased by 20-25 years with medical benefits of knee replacement, heart stenting etc.,which every govt. servant is enjoying. When present scheme was formed, all such huge liabilities were not there. Why tax payers money is used for such pension. All nationals including govt. servants must be governed by common system i.e. either EPF or annuity based pension.
