Diabetics no longer as profitable for pharma companies
by Rajesh Chheda on Jul 04, 2013 03:50 PM

1) You can cure athelete's foot disease just by peeing on your feet. This is more effective, painless and better than any pharma treatment.

2)Elevated sugar levels called diabetes has more simpler and cost effective cures than pharmaceuticals administered medicines which focus on treatment but never on cure to keep their profits fat at cost of nation's health.

3)Since diabetics are no longer profitable category as before we will see more and more CURES emerging as will of pharma companies to suppress truth around diabetes weakens.

4)Very soon, same is going to happen for High Blood pressure also where CURES will be found not permanent treatment of popping pills daily as even High BP is no longer a low hanging fruit.

5)Trust pharma to come come up with more dreaded diseases to replace these lines of profit or may be just newer vitamins, supplements or maybe just diagnostics to maintain and grow their profits.

This is ridiculous argument. Those who are born with faulty pancreas or are seriously predisposed to Type 2 diabetes will get it anyway. What the author / scientists are trying to do it to reduce the risk or prolong the onset. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. But stop making foolish arguments.

very true. my mother did lot of phsyical activity everyday preparing food washing clothes, dishes, drawing water everyday for nearly 25 years of life. She succumbed to diabetes in the end. Physical activity and absence of diabetes will never correlate.
