Mode of bragging i.e. been there, seen it all etc. Who cares if the mind was truly satisfied or not. Bottom line is show off i.e. I'm rich & have the money to blow on costly destinations n fancy holiday itenararies.
There are many spots in India which are really serene, virgin, peaceful n low costing (like Konkan in Maharashtra.) Tourism doesn't have to compulsorily mean 9 star hotels or resorts with costliest (but tasteless) service

totally agree with you. The underlined mantra is, whatever u do...just show off.
realities are diff. if you go to udai pur there is no water in lake, infact its looks like mud whatever little water is there, same story with other hotels.rediff is just marketing for ther behalf.
The Writer has missed out one of the finest Hotels for the newly wed Couples. That is Mayfair Palm Beach, Gopalpur-on-Sea, about 200 Kms from Bhubaneswar.
There are a lot of moderate priced Hotels, resorts in Kerala. Unfortunately, travel agents and mentioned hotels are looting these people from Abroad and other states
Great, but expensive place. for those who asked for the price, about 11k for two nights including breakfast(slightly cheaper rooms available too, but this is the general range). Food is sumptuous, but expensive too.
