Do not want to use bad words - the fact is she worked hard and struggled and hence success .She was not depending on doles in the name of reservation - which only pushed the merit out of window -but has achieved nothing .Learn from her ,it is hard work and not caste .We carried non sense for enough for too long .Coming to your logic please remmeber many have left the shores of TN and are extremely successful - a great many outside the country - where there is always a bias - but it sheer hard work ,good work ethics and commitment - not loot and begging bowls.

Are you stating the real facts? Even studies and preparation are prevented? Come to sense. Anybody who is intelligent and hard-working will deliver. You should know that TN ha sthe maximum reservation percentage in the country, though there is no reservation to seek admission for CA or clear the examinations. The third-rank also went to a boy in Tamil Nadu.

The girl has shown outstanding performance overcoming all difficulties. Education has become such a lucrative business that poor intelligent students are not able to get admission. ie the order of the day. the backward community will claim the merit but they dont help the poor backward to come up. because the affluent sc and st and obc share the govt. benefits. The other side of the story about the person who has guided the girl to reach this level is not mentioned. CA exam is being tough, anyone need to get guidance.

Avadi, because of very high reservation the upper caste has run away from TN. Harly 1% population is upper caste. Now reservation benefits are eaten away by rich BC/SC people and hence poor people are not able to benefit.H2XCn
Congrtas to prema and her determination. Without taking away any credit from her I would like to mention that a girl from Kolhapur whose father is chaiwala also completed her CA with first class. Prema being in Mumbai got so much publicity but this girl did not get any media attaention. I wanted to show the between being in metro and at a remote place.
Now that both the sister and brother have achieved their goals, it should lead to happiness in the family. We share it as children from the lower rung of the society have achieved this event (even passing CA is considered difficult as the pass percentage is very low), and it makes it extremely great celebration event for their achievement. Here are a few suggestions. 1. Now that the children can land in good jobs, they should slowly allow their parents rest from the present low-paid occupations, and, if they are interested, help them establish in businesses they can run. 2. Do not rush the girl into marriage as is the problem with people from lower strata of society. Allow her to blossom with her talent, and let her choose her partner in life later. 3. Once settled, buy an apartment and move up in quality of life, which the parents badly need for the hard work they have put in. 4. Encourage the parents to take pilgrimages which they have been missing tending the children. 5. Help children from the downtrodden society like you to blossom by your guidance, and tuition like the marvellous teacher from Bihar who helps children get into IITs and IAS.
CA Exams are the only exams which have not been politicised in this country. And that is because no one knows much about it.
Once people start understanding the salaries that Rank Holders get for a start, then clamour for reservations in articleship (auditor offices) will start and then the end of the road for professional CA education will start. It is only matter of time.
In the meanwhile, the whole country should rejoice in the awesome achievement of Prema.
Prema - You are also a role model now for the rest of the under privileged boys and girls in the country. Thank you for that!!
Hard work pays and is seen thru prema.May your sccess be inspiration for young indians.my niece is also preparing for ca,and i do my best,to encourage her for her exams.
