My story
by Tony montana on Jan 24, 2013 02:50 PM  | Hide replies

I have a similar story to share abt myself. When I was young I wanted to achieve something great in life but my father was a peon in a govt school in J&K so I was told to dream small. but my poverty never came in the way of my dreams, I worked hard to prove other ppl wrong. Today, I am software engineer in Germany. It has been a great journey from my fathers 3000 rupees to my 6200 euros salary pm. So everybody- Dream big to achieve big.

You are succesful since you left India. If you are in India you are wasted. I took a wrong decision to stay in country and am rotting looking for a best time to get out of country.

Sadly I must agree with you. I did my CA and Law but could not make much headway in India. 90's was the time when Industry grew at slow pace and service sector was yet to blossom. So I took the decision to step out and was immediately rewared with a job paying me 6 times my Indian salary. Brain drain has slowed down with specific sectors offering matching salaries within India but it would still be some time before we can put a stop to it. There is no place like one's own country.

Congratulations.

It is indeed a great news and a very proud moment for proud parents

I am sure that both of them would go a long way and would be in flying colours professionally I wish both of you all the best future endeavors and congratulate your parents and other family members for their support towards these achievements.
