I liked your story very much. Remember that if there is true love then no one can stop you. Girls need to be more persistent and patient. All the Best !!
It's not easy to accept being rejected by in law's family and get going with a bride. Santosh showed tremendous commitment and Bhavna did the rest to be better half. Really nice and commendable love story. True love doesn't need to have beautiful face, great look, money, etc. but, real feelings for each other.......All the best

You're absolutely right. It is the toughest thing to be rejected by the bride's family, specially on the grounds of financial in-capabilities.

Its ok, its 'buy than try' system, i know 'try before you buy; system of west is what we all like, but buy and try has its own merits.
one of my friend's sister too was not good looking, not only was she poor appearance also built wise not interesting (lets be honest poor looks can be compensated if the girl has good built). They had a very hard time finding a guy for him, than finally they found some family but the guy's father complained that she is very short in height, with this father said, 'AreNotokiGaddiLagaDenge NeecheHoJayegiLambi'..and than the marriage happened and she has been doing ok since than.

See we both are working and are living a lavishing life now, we have never taken any help from anybody even in our hard times as well and money never came in between our love life so please mind before commenting on anything as one might not know the struggle and actuality behind every real love story.

Lets be real here, your father would have some budget for your marriage, in normal case he would have spend say 2 cr on your marriage that too no gurantee of good family and husband, now if this good guy married you in such nice fashion, is int it injustice that he is not paid any penny? You should ask your parents to give you your share, may be they can give in your kids name etc. :) just trying to be real here, devil's advocate for the nice guy, your husband.

It is their personal decision, so please don't get money involved into it. Not everybody falls for money right??
I am glad that santosh did not step back. well its very difficult for a guy to bear the insult of the bride's family, and not all can stand this. In that case Bhawna is really lucky.
