I am holding HDIL of the cost of 300 since 2 years..what should I do ?

I am holding MIC Elx on average price of 38.50. CMP is around 5 RS. Please suggest wait/buy more/ book loss what should be my call, I can hold for long term.

if you see promoter holding, it is as low as 8.8% with 71% stocks with general public. Dividend payment is not continued after 2009. Revenues are on the decline and last 3 quarters are loss making. Very little hope for this scrip. 35 is book value, so you can see 35 with great difficulty in next few years if revenue improves.

I have 2000 share of Assam Compnay at rate of Rs. 6.6. I can hold from 1 to 2 yrs. What is ur view and also tech and fundamental of company plz.

Assam Company deals in Oil and Gas Exploration and Tea plantation. Sept quarter has been good for the firm with 88 cr topline and 0.94 EPS. this is a dividend paying firm, with book value of 10.32. 52% ownership is with the promoters. you should be able to see price range of 10 in next 6-12 months.

redemption of EOI shares

I purchase shares of Essar Oil Limited in 1995 and now when I want to redeem my shares, company said that it could not be redeeded but dematerialized. If an investor wants to take its share back, how the company can deny the repayment of the money he has invested? In such a situation what should I do to get my money back?

Essar Oil is currently trading at 71. so if you wish to sell the stock, you can get it dematerialized and sell on NSE or BSE. Company will not reimburse your money, you need to trade the stock on NSE/BSE.
