"that's what happens when some of the finest minds in the world join together to solve some of the toughest problems in computer science"
Give me a break!!
They are not "solving" any real problems.
Facebook is the solution to a problem that never existed in the first place. It exists for people who are self important gasbags constantly posting updates about how many times they farted and showered and post photos of themselves looking like monkeys, constantly salivating for "likes" from friends & strangers.
Real "friends" don't exist on facebook. They exist in real life, and they "meet" physically. They help their "friends" in person, and not by simply posting stupid comments or giving "likes" or "pokes".
Mark Zuckerbery has made a fool out of everyone and most people are not even aware of it!

The problem which existed is not a real world problem...He was talking about a problem in computer science. Of course facebook may directly contributing not much per-se, but it may help in solving a computer science problem which maybe applied elsewhere. Of course, FB maybe a waste of time unless you want to reach out to people using facebook for eg. keen to spread business among people who log in to facebook. Otherwise, it is just a waste of time I agree :-)
Such kind of culture can never been adopted in India, otherwise no one will work properly, all employees should be strickly controlled to increase productivity, the moment you give them some free time they will start smsing boy friend and girl friend, chat in office time facebooketc. so its becomes very important for all seniour managers to keep workers under them at their toe to give production output and strict action to be taken against them, also video can be installed in all people sitting place adn constantly monitor what they are doing is is good option
Thanks for sharing mate. It is truly inspiring I wish to see an Indian company creating a as beautiful product as this and making India proud. We should cease to be cyber coolies anymore and come up a innovative product and also break the vertical hierarchial mindset & structure, that we have accepted in our offices.
