The Micromax Canvas 2 HD is a good mobile @ around 14Ks. It has a HD display of 5 inches, 1.2 Ghz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean, 8 MP Primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. It shall give a good fight to the mega budget smart phones around.

Personally I feel Karbonn has slightly better touch than MMX. I had A18 and my brother has MMX A90s. In all toher aspects MMX is better. I would suggest you check S1 in some shop/showroom and decide. I don't think with 3K price diff, you will regret even with Karbonn.

Celkon A225 is too good...4.7 inch display, dual core 1.2 Ghz, 8 Mp rear and 2 MP front cam... This brand is rocking in the south
